- What do you like best about your country?
The countryside; the slow pace of life in the country; the history; the theatre; the dogs; the gardens; the feeling of quiet contentment - that the rest of the world could just slip off the map, and that England will always be there when you wake up after your afternoon nap.
- What do you not like? What do you think are the main problems your country has to deal with?
Climate – cold, wet winters; long, wet summers; occasional bursts of sunshine; class system; bloody-minded Yorkshiremen; worse Scots; unspeakable Welsh – and don’t mention the Irish!
- If you had to describe your country to a blind person in just one sentence what would you say?
Green, church spires; village pond. Pub – loads of drunken men chasing fat, ugly women!
- Hobbies:
Carpentry; gardening; doing the chores my wife tells me to do!
- Favourite Meals:
Fish and Chips; Chicken Tikka Marsala; Baked beans on toast – creamy Bath Buns. All available on Buntingford High Street.
-
Name some famous people of your country:
Paul McCartney, David Beckham, Tony Blair, David Cameron, Beatrix Potter, Postman Pat, Bob the Builder
