• What do you like best about your country?
  

  As Slovenia is very small, it is interesting to observe the big variety in the scenery of our country. People are very nice, friendly and always open to meet new people and moreover to let them explore their countryside. It is a unique place where you can see from the mountains to the sea and from the forests on the hills to the valleys by way of the rivers and lakes. There you can find a mix of the Alpine, Balkan and Mediterranean spirit in harmony.

• What do you not like? What do you think are the main problems your country has to deal with?
  

  We have some unemployment problems as there are many foreign owners of our factories and too many unemployed people. But the main problem we have to deal with is that we are not very known in the world, in fact, many people don’t have any idea of where Slovenia is! And it is even worse when some are confusing us with Slovakia. (But it is the quality that matters, not the quantity!)

• If you had to describe your country to a blind person in just one sentence what would you say?
  

  Imagine a small country, with the shape of a chicken full of natural beauties and gentile people. Imagine hearing the sound of the cold wind ‘burja’ or the beats of the urban mess; imagine smelling the nice aroma of the sea, imagine walking on a path that goes through mountains and valleys … now imagine having all these things in just one place – and this place is called Slovenia.

  young activist, sports (fitness, basketball)

  pancakes, everything that can be mixed with tuna fish
