- What do you like best about your country?
The best thing about India is that it is so multi-cultural. There are Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists and Christians living together peacefully. We might have our various differences but we manage to live together!!
Indians are very hospitable and friendly towards outsiders and their fellow countrymen.
- What do you not like? What do you think are the main problems your country has to deal with?
The main problem is illiteracy; the lack of education gives rise to various other problems… child labour, overpopulation, superstitious beliefs, gender discrimination. I feel that if people were more socially educated many of these problems could be solved.
- If you had to describe your country to a blind person in just one sentence what would you say?
India is not something you could describe in words... its something you should feel!
- Hobbies:
I love to travel and meet people from different countries, exchanging and sharing our cultural values and ideas, talking about the various issues that challenge the youth of today. Be it in Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic or India, young people of today face the same difficulties and therefore it is important to talk to young people from other countries, to discuss and overcome such challenges.
My other hobbies are dancing, swimming, reading and drawing.
- Favourite Meals:
The typical Indian meal when we have a celebration is Biryaani.
